    POSITION SUMMARY

    The University Relations Manager (URM), U.S. Affiliate institutions is responsible for supporting ISEP’s partnerships with affiliate institutions, with a focus on increasing engagement and student participation in ISEP Direct programs. Serving as the primary liaison for U.S. ISEP Affiliate Institutions, the URM builds strong relationships through ongoing communication and strong partner onboarding, promotion of ISEP opportunities, training and empowering partner staff, and ensuring ISEP customer experience, student quality, and compliance with ISEP standards.

    This role is responsible for driving student recruitment, engagement, and institutional growth by collaborating with the Director of Affiliate Engagement, campus partners (international offices, faculty, student organizations, career services, and other administrative staff) and leveraging ISEP’s network and resources to meet participation and engagement goals.

    PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS

    External: ISEP Affiliate Coordinators and other contacts at current and prospective partner institutions

    Internal: Director of Affiliate Engagement, Member Relations & University Relations Managers

    KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Relationship Management & Support

      • Serve as the primary contact for ISEP U.S. Affiliate Institutions
      • Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to partners on ISEP processes
      • Uphold ISEP Mission, Vision, and Values by monitoring and addressing partner needs and escalating concerns to leadership as needed.
      • Visit campuses, host virtual and in-person events, develop collaborative opportunities with ISEP teams, and advise students during fairs, webinars, and information sessions.
      • Conduct webinars, orientations, and presentations to promote programs and build brand visibility
      • Represent ISEP at industry professional development events such as conferences to elevate ISEP’s reputation, conduct partner relationship development, initiate new partnership opportunities, and support ISEP’s strategic public-facing initiatives.
      • Build collaborative relations and support work with ISEP cross-functional teams.

    Student Recruitment & Growth

      • Develop institution-specific engagement plans, including student recruitment strategies, program awareness initiatives, and application support in order to support ISEP Direct enrollment growth
      • Build brand awareness for ISEP Direct programs by engaging international offices, faculty, student organizations, and other key campus stakeholders

    Partner Onboarding & New Partnership Development

      • Develop, conduct, and optimize partner onboarding training and experience.
      • Support the affiliate engagement team and the Director of Affiliate Engagement in new partnership development and prospect and sales communications
      • Identify and cultivate new affiliate opportunities via networking, outreach, and conference attendance

    Data Management and Analysis

      • Collect and analyze member satisfaction data, and implement improvements based on survey feedback
      • Analyze and maintain accurate affiliate data in ISEP internal systems including the web portal, the CRM, and other sources to monitor trends, report progress, and adjust strategies
      • Conduct regular reporting on affiliate engagement and utilization of Salesforce

    Other

      • Travel for this position is seasonal in nature, and may constitute 20-80% of work time, depending on the time of the year.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in higher education, international education, or institutional partnership management
      • Proven experience managing external partnerships or client relationships (international education or study abroad experience preferred)
      • Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
      • Strong organizational and time-management skills
      • Ability to analyze data to inform strategic initiatives and respond to partner needs
      • Ability to travel for partner engagement and events
      • Self-motivated and organized, with experience managing remote workflows and multiple deadlines
      • Experience using a data management system such as Salesforce, for tracking relationships and reporting

    DESIRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

      • Direct experience in international education, particularly study abroad
      • Experience designing and delivering training and outward-facing communication materials
      • Comfort with B2B engagement and sales in an educational context
      • Familiarity with program promotion through digital marketing and social media
      • Understanding of program development or curriculum integration in higher education
      • Experience working with program development
