The Role

We seek a seasoned Nonprofit Operations Manager to help kick start our nascent organization with strategic expertise. A successful candidate will be something of a jack-of-all-trades. In this part-time role (10 hours/week), you will collaborate with the founder on fundraising, refine operational frameworks, and elevate our mission through media and social media placements. Your work will shape a movement to preserve literary integrity through a volatile and dynamic age.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations and Strategy: Advise and assist with nonprofit operations, including compliance, governance, and scalable processes.
• Fundraising: Provide instruction on foundational fundraising strategies, such as grant writing and donor outreach.
• Media Outreach: Secure opportunities for media placement, such as podcasts and publications to amplify awareness of our mission.
• Project Support: Assist with light administrative tasks, including budgeting and event planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nonprofits, ideally in arts, cultural, literary, or conservation organizations.
• Proven success in media placements (e.g., podcasts, print media).
• Proven fundraising experience.
• Passion for literature, the arts, and preservation.
• Ability to work remotely with flexibility and precision.
