    Lincoln Center Theater has produced over 200 plays and musicals at the Vivian Beaumont,

    Mitzi E. Newhouse, and Claire Tow Theaters at Lincoln Center and other theaters on and

    off-Broadway, as well as touring productions nationally and around the world. LCT is

    committed to developing and producing new works and classics with an emphasis on the

    work of new and emerging playwrights, directors, and designers. LCT’s education program,

    Open Stages, reaches thousands of public-school students annually with curriculum-

    related projects, teaching artist support, and tickets to LCT productions.

    Position Summary:

    The Director of Information Technology is a senior leader responsible for shaping and

    stewarding LCT’s technology vision, strategy, and operations. This role is both strategic and

    hands-on, providing leadership across infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and event

    technology while serving as a collaborative partner to departments such as Production,

    Marketing, Development, and Finance. The Director will lead efforts to modernize systems,

    elevate service delivery, and position technology as a critical enabler of LCT’s creative,

    operational, and organizational goals. This role reports to the Managing Director, and

    supervises the Associate Director of IT and IT Assistant.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and lead a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with institutional priorities, including long-term capital investment and infrastructure needs.
    • Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership on the role of technology in driving operational efficiency and audience experience.
    • Represent technology in institutional planning and decision-making

    Systems and Infrastructure

    • Oversee the stability, performance, and security of all IT infrastructure and network environments.
    • Partner on integrations and oversight of core systems including NetSuite and Tessitura.
    • Lead modernization efforts for Wi-Fi, cabling, AV/event tech, and physical infrastructure.

    Operations and Support

    • Manage a lean internal technology team across infrastructure, applications, and end-user support.
    • Ensure consistent, professional, and timely tech support for all staff and facilities.
    • Standardize practices for onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and vendor relationships.

    Cybersecurity and Risk Management

    • Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and practices.
    • Ensure compliance with training and access management protocols.
    • Serve as point of contact for risk audits and incident response plans.

    Team and Culture

    • Mentor and develop IT staff, ensuring access to ongoing training and certification.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, clarity, and continuous improvement.
    • Help reframe IT as a service-oriented, strategic partner within the organization.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT or technology leadership roles.
    • Demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.
    • Familiarity with nonprofit or performing arts organizations strongly preferred.
    • Experience managing enterprise systems (e.g., NetSuite, Tessitura, or similar platforms).
    • Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, security, and cloud-based environments.
    • Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

    Compensation:

    This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with an annual salary range of $150,000-

    175,000. Lincoln Center Theater provides comprehensive benefits including: paid medical,
