    Description

Title: Fundraiser & Program Coordinator (Part-Time)

    Location: Remote (PA-based preferred)

Workplace Options: This role can be done remotely with flexibility for in-person meetings if needed.

Compensation: $20–$30/hour, 10–15 hours/week (contract position), with growth incentives

    Growth Incentive:

Running a nonprofit is a lot of work, but with the right team in place, we can build a strong foundation for long-term success. To support the launch of the Kopp Foundation for Diabetes, we are assembling a lean and passionate team of volunteers and part-time professionals to set up systems, grow programs, and achieve early impact.

This position includes the potential for performance-based bonuses or increased compensation if the organization achieves key fundraising milestones (e.g., exceeding revenue targets or securing major grants). As the foundation grows, this role may expand into a full-time leadership position.

    About the Role:

The Kopp Foundation for Diabetes seeks an energetic and resourceful Fundraiser & Program Coordinator to help launch and grow our early-stage nonprofit. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a youth-led organization committed to innovative diabetes solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Plan and implement fundraising campaigns (donor outreach, online giving, events).
      • Assist in writing grants and developing corporate sponsorship proposals.
      • Coordinate volunteer teams for community programs and awareness campaigns.
      • Support partnership building with universities, clinics, and biotech firms.
      • Develop marketing content (emails, social media posts, newsletters).

    Qualifications:

      • Experience in nonprofit fundraising and program coordination.
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work independently and with a youth-led team.
      • Passion for health innovation and supporting a startup nonprofit.
