    POSITION SUMMARY:

    As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to help bring our mission and brand to life across multiple platforms.

    The Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of marketing campaigns, content development, events, and partner communications. This role is ideal for a strong communicator and organized multitasker who’s passionate about sustainability and excited to contribute to a mission-driven team.

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Key duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

    Campaign & Content Support

    • Assist digital team in developing and scheduling content across social media channels
    • Support creation of marketing materials (flyers, brochures, infographics, presentations, etc.) in coordination with design team and Call2Recycle teams
    • Coordinate newsletter development including content gathering, formatting, and distribution
    • Manage email marketing and lead gen initiatives with direction and guidance from management.

    Project Coordination

    • Track marketing timelines and campaign deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
    • Maintain a marketing calendar for campaigns, events, and key communications
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., programs, policy, partnerships) to support marketing needs.

    Brand & Messaging

    • Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, product or program messaging, etc.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication touchpoints
    • Assist in proofreading, formatting, and quality-checking marketing materials
    • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries (logos, templates, images, etc.).

    Analytics & Reporting

    • Assist digital team in compiling social media and email campaign performance
    • Track metrics related to engagement, reach, and conversion.

    Events & Outreach

    • Support coordination and promotion of webinars, trade shows, partner events, etc.
    • Assist in preparing presentations, collateral, and event follow-ups.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field OR
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism or related field
    • Minimum three years’ experience using data to support marketing and sales decisions
    • Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Call2Recycle, with or without sponsorship.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Experience supporting SEO and SEM campaigns and strategies a plus
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
    • Experience working in nonprofit or mission-driven environments a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Highly proficient in prioritizing and adapting in a fast-paced work setting
    • Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Canva, Click Dimensions, HubSpot, Google Analytics, WordPress, AirTable or related
    • Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.)
    • Passion for sustainability, recycling, or environmental impact a strong plus
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • This position is remote-based within the United States. Candidates must be able to work from a U.S.-based location, and be eligible to work lawfully in the United States for Call2Recycle.
    • Limited travel (estimated 3-4 times per year) as needed. Travel could include, but not be limited to, attending conferences, customer meetings, or team/organization-wide meetings. Call2Recycle’s corporate office is in Marietta, GA. This position does not need to be based there.
    • The work hours, Monday - Friday, are 8 hours per day. The position may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during peak periods. Our approach to schedules is to focus more on the quality and timeliness of the work being done. We recognize the importance of ensuring staff can connect with each other and maintain a work-life balance.
