    Description

    The National Association for Hispanic Elderly/Asociacion Nacional Pro Personas Mayores (NAFHE/ANPPM) is hiring a Manager of In-House IT Systems (MIS). The position is located in Pasadena, Calif. and is part of a team that ensures federal grant compliance in implementing the NAFHE/ANPPM Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP).

    The Participants in the SCSEP are 55 years and older and are provided 20 to 25 paid community service hours in term limited jobs at local qualified host organizations, either a non-profit organization or a state or local government agency. In exchange for the SCSEP participant, the host organization provides valuable in-kind job training. As participants in program, they are encouraged and assisted to use the community service hour experience to find a permanent job within the private or public sector before the end of the four-year program term.

    NAFHE/ANPPM is headquartered in Pasadena, Calif. and has eight regional offices covering various counties in Arizona, California, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania.

    • Assist in maintaining compliance with the Department of Labor SCSEP grant terms and conditions
    • Collect and analyze data for accuracy for input into federal IT cloud-based systems
    • Evaluate and provide input into internal tracking systems and processes
    • Provide assistance and serve as a resource for regional offices in data collection and input
    • Responsible for verifying data, reporting and communications accuracy
    • Create reports, presentations and other communication products promoting NAFHE/ANPPM’s SCSEP efforts
    • Assist virtually and in-person the coordination and compliance of grant terms with staff at the regional offices and Pasadena headquarters

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or experience in:

    • NOTE: Applicant must have knowledge and experience in all aspects of Microsoft Office 365.
    • Three to five years working on a team implementing a state or federal funded social services program
    • Experience working in non-profit organizations or a government agency
    • Knowledge and experience with cloud-based IT data systems and solutions, federal or state systems strongly preferred
    • Collecting, verifying and analyzing data ensuring accuracy and its integrity
    • Background or experience in community organizing; job placement programs; or social welfare work a plus
    • Self-starter comfortable and experience working as part of a virtual team
    • Proficient in managing projects and teams with Microsoft Office 365
    • Virtual meeting technology, both hosting and participating
    • Bachelor or above degree
    • Limited domestic and regional travel may be required
    • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
