    Description

    The Training and Capacity Building Coordinator supports skill-building and development for Continuum of Care (CoC) service providers. This role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering training programs to foster continuous learning and capacity growth within the Atlanta CoC. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and dedicated to promoting a culture of learning.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of training sessions, including handling logistics and resources as needed.
    • Act as the primary contact for promoting and communicating training opportunities to the CoC community and facilitators, ensuring timely and effective communication.
    • Assist in drafting training proposals and collaborate with stakeholders to align training initiatives with community needs and organizational goals.
    • Conduct evaluations and gather feedback post-training to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Stay up-to-date on best practices in training and capacity building, incorporating new insights into program development.
    • Contribute to additional tasks as assigned, supporting the mission and objectives of the CoC.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Well organized and excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Good verbal and written communications skills for both internal and external entities.
    • Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
    • Highly industrious with a strong work ethic; sense of urgency/impatience for action
    • Integrity and humility that encourage and inspires constituents, strong sense of judgment.
