    Description

    The Marketing and Member Support Associate largely supports the overall marketing and membership administration of CAPA under the direction of the Executive Director. The ideal candidate is one who enjoys creating content and visuals but also has the technical skills to utilize apps and platforms for content creation and day-to-day membership administration. Approximately 70% of the time will be spent collaborating with the Executive Director, and the remaining working with the full CAPA team.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist the Executive Director in implementing marketing and communications content to promote CAPA events, programs, membership, and advocacy
    • Assist in curating or seeking content for CAPA’s regular publications: quarterly print magazine, monthly electronic newsletter, monthly email promotion of CAPA activities
    • Manage and create/update content for CAPA’s website
    • With the CAPA team, co-create regular content for CAPA’s three social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
    • Assist in membership administration: processing memberships and database maintenance
    • Provide excellent customer service to members on the phone, in-person, and all communications
    • Work alongside CAPA team at in-person events and conferences
    • Assist the Executive Director in drafting and sending correspondence on their behalf, as necessary
    • Perform or assist other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Executive Director
