    The emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development.

    As the Director you will be the first line of providing your educational staff with a solid foundation of serving the needs of all the children. You will supervise the assistant teacher while demonstrating your commitment to various ways of opening the learning mind of young children. We have 2 early learn centers (25 W. 132nd Street and 249 W. 144th Street) that are under one umbrella of administration.

    The ideal Candidate for a Teacher/Director must have: (1) NYS Certification, N-6; (2) and or Associates, Bachelor's and or /Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university; and previously demonstrated experience as a teacher and/or as a manager of early childhood education and UPK. Candidate must also be cognitive of the Creative Curriculum and other instructional curriculums. Must be familiar with Teaching Strategy Gold (TSG) Children/Teacher Observations, check points and lesson plans. Must be familiar with The Brigance Assessments. Must be familiar with Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS).
