    Description

    Position Overview

    BOMB’s Circulation Coordinator reports to the Associate Publisher and is responsible for all day-to-day subscriber/members operations for BOMB’s print periodical.

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing a comprehensive plan alongside the Associate Publisher with attention to new subscriber/member growth. Maintaining existing stewardship, including acquisition and renewal campaigning.
    • Assist in creating a comprehensive plan alongside the Associate Publisher and marketing team to grow new memberships at the first two levels.
    • Collect and analyze all sales and member data, including YOY(year-to-year) retail comparisons, renewal, churn, and set monthly and quarterly KPIs for growth, and provide deferred income reporting for the annual audit.
    • Manage and maintain BOMB’s relationship with its fulfillment house. Meet bi-weekly with them and the Associate Publisher.
    • Initiate and execute membership bundles with peer publications to increase yearly memberships.
    • Administer BOMB’s digital sales ecosystem and the data management and systems architecture of Salesforce, Craft CMS Store, Square, and all constituent software.
    • Manage and maintain all member and contributor data via Salesforce, including complementary and lifetime memberships.
    • Oversee quarterly member mailings and supplemental mailings
    • Collaborating with BOMB’s Managing Editor to liaise with printers, distributors, and logistics professionals to maintain production timelines and USPS standards. Deliver each issue of the magazine to distributors, bookstores, and subscribers.
    • Collecting and analyzing all sales and subscriber data, including YOY(year-to-year) retail comparisons, renewal, and churn, setting monthly and quarterly key performance indicators for growth, and providing deferred income reporting for the annual audit.
    • Managing newsstand and bookstore circulation and member distribution for quarterly print periodicals.
    • Collaborating with BOMB’s Managing Editor to liaise with printers, distributors, and logistics professionals to maintain production timelines and USPS standards.
    • Acting as the primary contact for USPS and other international mailing organizations, keeping permits current, maintaining mailing funds, and filing all required time-sensitive paperwork. Manage circulation invoices: wholesale/consignment, printer, warehouse, distributors, etc
    • Retail fulfillment of customer orders from BOMB’s office.

    Skills: Two years of experience preferred in Salesforce, Craft CMS, Shopify, Fetch, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
