    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

    The Recruiting Specialist, as a member of the Human Resources team, will provide recruiting, screening, and HR programmatic support for hiring needs and other projects for our Washington, D.C. based public health global organization. This position plays a key part in executing and maintaining a comprehensive recruitment process, while also supporting broader HR programs and initiatives that help attract and retain top talent. This position reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer.

    WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

    • Manage hiring process by coordinating job postings to various career websites
    • Lead reference check process and extend written and verbal offers
    • Schedule team in-person/virtual interviews
    • Work closely with hiring manager to screen qualified candidates
    • Support our hiring managers in completing the hiring process from technical support to follow up meetings
    • Lead process for tracking candidates in our applicant tracking system and provide a comparative analysis and report on quarterly metrics
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all staff inquiries and program support for the company-wide employee recognition program, Awardco
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

    SKILLS YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in human resources, business management or a related field
    • 3+ years of recruiting, applicant tracking and screening experience
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet complex deadlines
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
    • Maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to work as a team and independently
    • Communicate clearly and effectively
    • Solid understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferably, ADP Workforce Now
