    Location: New York City (hybrid: field-based work plus remote flexibility)

    Position Type: Full-time, 12-month contract (with potential for renewal)

    Start Date: Fall 2025

    Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 (paid in monthly installments)

    Note: This position is contingent upon grant funding.

    We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Researcher to lead an in-depth study focused on improving outcomes for first-generation Sub-Saharan African youth in New York City.

    Rather than focusing solely on causes or consequences of inequality, this role centers on research that informs, tests, or builds understanding of concrete policy, program, or practice responses to reduce specific inequalities affecting youth. The goal is to produce actionable insights that organizations, institutions, and systems can adopt to create real change.
