Job Summary:
Women’s Law Project (WLP) seeks a dynamic lobbyist to advocate in the Pennsylvania legislature and designated state agencies for policies and resources that support WLP’s mission of achieving reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ equality, freedom from violence, economic equality, and overall gender equality. WLP advocates for proactive state policies to advance gender justice and against regressive policy proposals that restrict reproductive and/or bodily autonomy, and endanger health, safety, privacy, and economic security.

Location & Work Hours:
The lobbyist will be expected to maintain a regular in-person presence in Harrisburg, PA. This role requires flexibility to attend meetings, hearings, and events that may occur outside of regular business hours. Travel within Pennsylvania may be necessary.
Independent Contractor:
This position is for an independent contractor and not an employee of the organization. As an independent contractor, the lobbyist will not be eligible for any employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, or other employee-related benefits. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other statutory obligations.
