    Description

    This is a new position for Progressive Multiplier. You will play a critical role in communicating the impact of Progressive Multiplier’s work and supporting the democratization of independent revenue generation (IRG) knowledge throughout the progressive movement.

    Publications + Events

    • Annual Impact Report: Support the development, publication, and marketing of annual impact report and supporting collateral
    • Events: Produce and manage webinars, funder briefings, and other virtual and live events such as trainings
    • Tools + Toolkits: Support with production and development of IRG tools and toolkits in coordination with our program work, liaise with graphic designer to ensure overall quality and brand standards
    • Podcast: Support the production and management of podcast programming

    Outbound Content Planning

    • Implement a structured plan for creating, publishing and distributing content that resonates with our audiences in order to grow their awareness of PM’s brand, perceived brand quality, and addressable audience.
    • Monthly, defines the specific content modes, content assets, messaging frames and lenses needed to tell the best story to our audiences
    • Calendar all content on a quarterly basis
    • Own scheduling, providing agenda for and running all quarterly content brainstorms and post review meetings with Sr. Dir. of Learning & Impact

    Outbound Content Production & Analysis

    • Implement the monthly production model established with Sr. Dir. of Learning and Impact
    • Write and publish effective and accurate content—such as blogs, newsletters, and case studies—according to the content strategy, ensuring it is consistent with the brand voice, look and feel.
    • Effectively manages external vendors, consultants, and freelancers to support graphic design, etc.
    • Develop quality media distribution lists and proactively identifies earned media opportunities to share impact within the market and the industry.
    • Collaboratively define KPIs for all content and produce monthly dashboards by end of second full business day after end of month
    • Managing press relations and media partnerships

    Revenue & Reputation Expansion Support for Unit Leads

    • Maintain conference/convening calendar to ensure Unit Leads apply for proposals and register for appropriate conferences in a timely manner
    • Develop materials such as conference proposals, thought pieces, and white papers, ensuring alignment with overall brand and quality standards
    • Maintain current collaterals, including website, The Convergence (our virtual resource library and community), Google Grant SEM, marketing decks & one pagers to ensure timely, relevant and engaging information
    • Maintain and expand photo and graphic asset library
    • Stay informed about industry trends, intermediary and philanthropic activities, and market changes
    • Conduct thorough research on and participate in industry associations, learning communities and events to share IRG learning and identify new potential movement group partners that would benefit from PM’s program and expand replicable IRG learnings for the movement

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has strong foundational communications and fundraising skills and wants to grow
    • Understands and believes deeply in Progressive Multiplier’s mission and wants to tell our story to help organize financial resources to support it.
    • Will invite supporters into an evolved vision of Progressive Multiplier through active marketing communications. We are ready to move from “technical assistance partner” reputation to “movement builder, capable and worthy of investment if you want the progressive movement to achieve world-changing scale,” reputation.
    • Demonstrates analytical and persuasive writing skills as well as superior editing skills including ability to convey complex information in a clear manner to a diverse audience
    • Demonstrates strong administrative skills and is self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks in an effective and efficient manner
    • Maintains knowledge of the progressive sector and fundraising
    • Has achieved proficiency with general computer software such as Google Workplace, Zoom, etc.
