    Director of College Affordability Programs

    The Director of Programs and Outreach is responsible for leading The Scholarship Academy’s programmatic vision and execution. This role will oversee implementation across multiple school districts, cultivate strategic partnerships, manage a national evaluation infrastructure, and support team and volunteer development—including oversight of AmeriCorps Program Assistants. The Director will champion scalability and sustainability through innovation, collaboration, and performance measurement.

    Leadership, Management & Implementation – 30%

    • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for all college affordability programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Inspire and supervise program staff, including oversight of AmeriCorps Program Assistants, to build a cohesive and high-performing team.
    • Manage the implementation of program deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation across districts and partner sites.
    • Oversee the program budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with funder requirements and strategic priorities.
    • Guide the organization’s shift to a Train-the-Trainer model, supporting the rollout of a National Scholarship Accreditation process for College Access Professionals.

    Partnership Development & Scaling – 30%

    • Lead partnership cultivation and onboarding efforts in targeted Georgia counties and beyond, with a focus on scaling impact and deepening school district engagement.
    • Support the integration of corporate volunteers and site-based staff into local programming.
    • Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of partner schools, districts, nonprofits, and funders; ensure timely implementation and tracking of deliverables.
    • Establish and maintain systems to support collaborative planning, implementation, and evaluation with partners.

    Program Evaluation & Impact Measurement – 20%

    • Lead the development of evaluation systems that assess program effectiveness, including the creation of scorecards and logic models for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Track program performance metrics across all sites and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
    • Generate and submit grant and board reports that highlight organizational impact, outcomes, and progress toward strategic goals.
    • Standardize partner reporting frameworks and build capacity among partner organizations to independently track and evaluate their own program outcomes.

    Infrastructure, Operations & Volunteer Engagement – 20%

    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services through the development and enhancement of operational systems.
    • Foster cross-departmental collaboration and improve internal communications to strengthen team cohesion and strategic alignment.
    • Build and manage a volunteer engagement strategy, expanding the organization’s capacity through the integration of skilled community members.
    • Promote a healthy organizational culture grounded in consistency, transparency, and data-driven learning.
