K-8 school in Manhattan dedicated to serving promising, low-income students, Harlem Academy
fills a critical gap in the education landscape. Our program propels students to the top echelons
of academic performance and then supports them on the path to and through college and into

practices in leading education journals and think tanks.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the development director, the development and communications associate will
work with the development team on the execution of communications, annual giving, and
donor cultivation strategies for the year.

Applications for this position will be accepted on a rolling basis. The position is in-person Monday through Friday, with occasional work outside of regular hours.
