    Salary Range - $50,000 - $65,000 Annually

    Our Friends Place (OFP) is dedicated to helping young women break the generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty, and homelessness through empowering self-reliance and independence.

    OFP seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to manage and expand our SOAR to Success non-residential prevention and education program. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, compassionate, and motivating manager with a proven track record of success in developing strong relationships with school districts, local colleges and universities, after-school programs, and other community support organizations. They will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating fairness, respect, and emotional intelligence in all interactions. This individual will be a proactive problem-solver with a positive and supportive attitude, capable of inspiring and motivating their team while working to enhance our program offerings to youth and youth-serving organizations nationwide.

    Position Summary

    The Non-Residential Program Manager will be responsible for empowering their team through mentorship and guidance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outreach programming and reporting, and delivering on annual metrics while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    The Non-Residential Program Manager is accountable for the administration and implementation of all non-residential programs and for coordinating successful exits from our Residential Program.

    The Non-Residential Program Manager supervises two SOAR Coordinators and works closely with the Residential Program team to ensure the agency’s program goals are met or exceeded. The Non-Residential Program Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

    Responsibilities

    SOAR to Success Program Management and Supervision

    • Gain a thorough understanding of the SOAR Coordinator role to provide effective guidance, mentorship, support, and backup coverage.
    • Implement comprehensive training programs, provide ongoing supervision, and cultivate a positive and productive team environment.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, gather feedback, and analyze relevant metrics to ensure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Compile comprehensive monthly non-residential program reports for monitoring and evaluation purposes, providing data-driven insights into program performance.
    • Provide professional development and support to adult allies involved in our programs.

    Establishing and Maintaining Partnership Agreements

    • Proactively identify, cultivate, and nurture strategic relationships with potential and existing community partners, including school districts, local colleges and universities, after-school programs, and other youth-serving organizations.
    • Develop collaborative relationships with local service providers, including shelters, food banks, housing agencies, and faith-based organizations.
    • Network with other organizations and agencies, sharing best practices and developing partnership agreements.
    • Develop, negotiate, and formalize partnership agreements (e.g., Memoranda of Understanding) that clearly define roles, responsibilities, and expected outcomes for collaborative program delivery.
    • Following the formalization of agreements, delegate next steps and actions to the team, ensuring clear accountability and timely execution.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership agreements, making adjustments as needed to optimize program reach and impact.
    • Ensure all partnership agreements and program activities are in full compliance with relevant governing agencies, state laws, federal regulations, and organizational policies.

    Intake and Continuum of Care Coordination

    • Participate in the intake process for all individuals seeking residential services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in assessment and referral.
    • Ensure meticulous documentation and tracking of all intake activities, adhering to established protocols and maintaining confidentiality.
    • Perform timely initial resident intake screenings, gathering essential information and assessing eligibility for OFP programs.
    • Coordinate with the Residential Program Director and team to ensure a seamless continuum of care for young women transitioning into and out of the Transitional Living Centers (TLC), including aftercare services.

    Administrative and Reporting

    • Generate comprehensive monthly "Program at a Glance" reports, in coordination with the Residential Program Director, providing key performance indicators and program updates to leadership.
    • Oversee invoices, vendor relationships, and manage program budgets, ensuring accurate reporting and financial accountability.
    • Develop and implement industry-standard data management procedures, ensuring quality service delivery and effective participant outcomes.
    • Prepare detailed annual program reports, summarizing achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future program development and strategic planning.
    • Conduct data-driven analysis of program needs and areas for improvement, informing strategic decisions.
    • Represent the Program Staff in public forums or delegate this responsibility to SOAR Coordinators, ensuring consistent and professional representation.
    • Partner with the CEO and Development team to increase annual contributions from individuals, corporations, and community partners, supporting program sustainability.
    • Opportunity to serve as staff representative on appropriate board committee.

    Community Advocacy and Representation

    • Serve as a liaison and advocate for Our Friends Place in the youth homelessness space, representing the agency at community forums, coalitions, and advocacy groups.
    • Actively participate in local and national discussions and initiatives aimed at addressing youth homelessness and promoting systemic change.
    • Educate community stakeholders and policymakers on the unique needs of young women experiencing homelessness and the impact of OFP's non-residential programs.
    • Collaborate with the CEO and Development team to leverage advocacy efforts for increased awareness and support for OFP's mission.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
    • Formal training in the mental health field is highly preferred.
    • 1-3 Years Supervisory/Management Experience
    • Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred
    • Experience with case management tools, Apricot preferred
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Aware of State and school district policies that impact children and youth experiencing homelessness.

    Essential Qualities

    • Direct experience working with adolescents is required, at-risk youth and homeless youth, is preferred
    • Flexibility to attend events, etc. outside of normal working hours as needed
    • Ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and build long-term relationships
    • Impeccable integrity and sense of personal accountability
    • Dedication to implementing and exploring best practices.
    • Uses a trauma-informed approach when communicating with participants, clients and stakeholders.

    Benefits

    A candidate with acceptable qualifications could expect to earn $50,000 per year, while a candidate with exceptional qualifications could expect to earn up to $65,000 per year. Our Friends Place currently pays 85% of the average monthly cost for medical insurance coverage. The agency matches up to 3% of employee IRA contributions and training dollars are allotted in the annual budget to grow your expertise in nonprofit development.
