    Description

    We are looking for someone to help us launch a new initiative focused on poverty eradication in communities across the country. The Shared Humanity Project was founded in 2020 to challenge the status quo approach to poverty in the U.S. and replace it with one that works. Over the past five years, we have continually refined the plan and will be launching our new approach in September.

    The schedule is part-time, 20 hours per week, and the work can be done remotely or in our Florida office.

    Responsibilities include:

    1. Organizing communications with individuals and groups from every sector and in every region of the country
    2. Helping to establish the infrastructure for the initiative, akin to managing a national campaign
    3. Writing website, online, and traditional mail communications
    4. Overseeing social media across multiple platforms
    5. Researching the latest data on poverty, both nationally and on state and local levels
    6. Helping with donor and foundation communications
    7. Performing general marketing and outreach
