    About Us:

    Grow Home is a Baltimore-based nonprofit that connects residents with career opportunities in construction, urban agriculture, and skilled trades through community-led revitalization projects. Since 2019, we’ve partnered with neighborhoods to transform urban green spaces while providing comprehensive workforce development support.

    Position Overview:

    Grow Home is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented OST (Out-of-School Time) Program Director to oversee the successful coordination and implementation of OST vocational programs across multiple school sites. This leadership role involves program logistics, staffing, relationship building, stakeholder engagement, and data management, ensuring quality and alignment at every level.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure OST programs operate on schedule and at the appropriate school sites
    • Hire, onboard, and manage skilled trade experts for instructional and enrichment activities and ensuring they follow a path towards career enhancement fo the students
    • Serve as a liaison among Family League, other funders, Grow Home leadership, and school principals, maintaining strong communication and collaboration
    • Assist in managing the data system used to collect and track program information across all sites
    • Monitor programming for quality, consistency, and impact
    • Oversee scheduling, space coordination, and materials management, including instructional supplies purchases
    • Address on-site challenges and support continuous program improvement
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure program goals are met
    • Continue to assess the career interests of student bodies to introduce new cohorts
    • Attend all Family League Professional Development meetings (1-2 per quarter)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in program coordination, education, or youth development
    • Effective communicator and problem-solver
    • Passionate about creating enriching learning opportunities for youth
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships across departments
    • Familiarity with data tracking systems or willingness to learn (data collection experience a plus)
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
    • Commitment to equity, youth engagement, and high-quality programming
    • Preference given to persons familiar with Baltimore City Public Schools or other public schooling systems
