    Description

    College Counseling Director 

    As our College Counseling Director, you will help lead college counseling efforts and matriculation strategies at your site, so that students from underserved communities can successfully navigate the college admissions process and pursue higher education. Day to day, you will:

    1.  Lead goal-setting processes with the site’s college counseling team to develop a strategic plan for matriculation and college readiness.
    2. Oversee the management of scholar caseloads, including assigning juniors and seniors to team members and directly counseling a caseload yourself.
    3. Collaborate with College Track’s central College Counseling team to ensure alignment in college counseling strategies.
    4. Track key student metrics such as FAFSA completion, college applications, and admission decisions using platforms like Salesforce.
    5. Provide individualized counseling to students on college applications, financial aid, and scholarships, and lead programming such as family meetings and financial aid workshops.
    6. Coach and manage the College Counselor, providing regular check-ins, feedback, and support to ensure they meet program expectations.

    2. Have a strong background in college counseling and a proven track record of guiding students through college applications, financial aid, and matriculation.
    3. Demonstrate leadership and case management experience, with the ability to coach and support staff to reach high standards.
    4. Be highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    5. Have knowledge of key college systems, financial aid, and scholarship programs

    Compensation: This position is Full-Time, Exempt. The full compensation range for a College Counseling Director in Los Angeles, CA is $80,500-$98,325 / Year with the exact compensation depending on experience. As someone new to this role at College Track, you can expect an offer between $84,956-$89,411 /Year to ensure internal equity while leaving room for compensation growth during your time with us.
