Our mission is to connect, inform, and empower our community by developing content that celebrates diversity in music and culture and fosters civic engagement and goodwill.

    OUR VISION AND CORE VALUES

At KVMR, our vision is to celebrate the music of the world and give voice to the community. We believe that public media has a responsibility to uplift, connect, and authentically reflect the communities it serves. Our commitment extends beyond broadcasting—informing how we collaborate, create content, and engage with the world around us.

Our work is grounded in the core values of:

    • Quality & Reliability
    • Community
    • Creativity
    • Diversity & Inclusivity
    • Honesty & Integrity

    POSITION OVERVIEW

The General Manager is the chief executive officer of KVMR and is responsible for executing the station’s mission, strategic objectives, and operations. We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and collaborative General Manager to lead KVMR into its next era of growth and community impact. This is a unique opportunity for a leader passionate about public media, nonprofit management, and community service to oversee a beloved station with deep local roots and a growing digital footprint.
