    About the Role:

    The Marketing & Community Lead will shape and execute the public voice, audience growth, and community-building efforts of a civic-cultural venue, and a business services office. This is a creative and relational role, blending marketing strategy, content production, social media management, and grassroots outreach.

    Key Responsibilities

    (Venue & Events)

      • Design and manage marketing strategy across social media, email, partnerships, and PR.
      • Promote events, membership programs, residencies, and vendor opportunities.
      • Create engaging visual and written content (or manage freelancers as needed).
      • Build local partnerships with artists, media, influencers, and community groups.

    (Business Services)

      • Develop clear messaging and outreach strategy for our business services.
      • Build pipeline of small business, creative, and startup clients.
      • Manage online presence, website updates, and client communications.
      • Coordinate small workshops, info sessions, or webinars to attract entrepreneurs.

    Community Engagement

      • Foster a growing community online and offline.
      • Listen to community needs, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.
      • Support collaborations that amplify both civic and commercial missions.

    Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
      • 3–5 years in marketing, communications, or community-building roles.
      • Strong digital marketing skills: social media, email, basic design, content creation.
      • Excellent writing and storytelling abilities.
      • Experience in creative, cultural, or entrepreneurial sectors is a plus.
      • Outgoing, relational, and passionate about cultural and economic impact.

    Salary: Commensurate with Experience

    Incentives: Performance bonuses tied to operational success + marketing KPIs
