    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Executive Assistant will hold a critical detail-oriented role within Bridge reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. The EA will support the CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Management Team of (5) in several areas including coordinating high-level meetings; drafting and editing written communications, presentations and reports; and supporting fundraising efforts and Board meetings. As the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies on all matters concerning the CEO, the Executive Assistant must demonstrate discretion, resourcefulness, confidence and independence in several areas. These will include extensive calendar management; making business travel arrangements for CEO; and managing correspondence; arranging logistics for speaking engagements, staff meetings and other activities from conception to completion. The Executive Assistant is a skilled project manager, strong and professional communicator, and collaborative problem solver who will reflect and uphold Bridge’s values at all times and in all settings.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Manage the CEO’s calendar - anticipate and resolve conflicts and bottlenecks
    • Edit and complete draft internal and external communications and presentations accurately and within deadline
    • Take the lead in the preparation of presentation and related materials required for formal presentations to the Executive Team and Agency-wide audiences
    • Research, analyze and present data to support Bridge Director-led initiatives, events and projects
    • Research data to prepare documents for review and presentation for use by Boards of Directors, committees, and executives
    • Assume primary responsibility for filing and retrieving Board records, documents and reports
    • Accurately record Board meeting minutes
    • Read and analyze incoming memoranda and other submissions and distribute appropriately
    • Make travel reservations for CEO’s business travel
    • Organize and manage logistics for team meetings and employee events, including attendance on-site and on day of event to ensure flawless execution.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated expertise in prioritization and critical decision making
    • Highly organized and focused on details
    • Ability to execute responsibilities with confidence
    • Excellent, professional communication style in speaking and writing
    • Highly resourceful problem solver
    • Ability to discern correct prioritization of projects and negotiate multiple projects and deadlines

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Proficient with Google and MS Office suites
    • Experience in using Doodle polls
    • Able and willing to learn new applications as needed

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree or related technical training
    • Three plus years of related professional work experience supporting a senior executive in a non-profit organization

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds occasionally.
    • Will need to move between two buildings located closely together
    • May occasionally visit additional locations in Brighton.

    COMPENSATION

    Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
