    TITLE: Program Coordinator

    DEPARTMENT: Certification

    Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Credentialing, manage the database and software system used by the Certification Department and all related processes, respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues by telephone or by electronic communication in a timely manner. Attends all required meetings.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Day to-day management of certificant application and certification database processes. Includes interface with partners of the department, i.e. testing vendor, software customer service.
    2. Follow-up of information for certificants by mail and email as necessary.
    3. Management of customer service duties via telephone or electronic communication. Resolution of inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
    4. Interact with other departments of NLN as needed to ensure flow of the certification program when other department input is needed, i.e. Membership, Accounting.
    5. Maintenance of certification materials that are placed on the NLN website for currency and accuracy, including maintenance of up to date NLN website certification pages.
    6. Attend Certification functions as necessary, including attendance at NLN Annual Summit to support the Certification booth.
    7. Attend Board of Commissioners meeting and record Board activities in the form of accurate meetings.
    8. Attend regularly scheduled and called NLN-based meetings, departmental and company-wide.
    9. Provide other certification support as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education: Bachelor's degree required.

    Experience: 3 or more years of related program coordinator experience.

    Skills: Able to plan and organize work, function independently, and manage multiple tasks. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills, particularly regarding accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communications. Excellent interpersonal skillsboth in person and by phone,with high professionalism. Proficient using the latest versionsof Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and mail merges; email and web searches. Competence or willingness to becomecompetent in software,databases, and spreadsheets. iMIS experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills.
