Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Program Description: Goddard Riverside’s TOP Clubhouse is an accredited clubhouse and is a recognized Evidenced Based Model of Recovery Oriented Psychiatric Rehabilitation. The clubhouse community creates a therapeutic environment that transforms the lives of individuals living with mental illness. Members, together with staff, participate in all the work units including employment, education, administration and culinary. Together they perform all activities, including advocacy, administrative support, building maintenance and food preparation that keep the community going. The clubhouse is open on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s and operates a social recreational program.
Position Summary: The Program Director is responsible for the day- to- day oversight of all program activities and functions. The primary duty is to manage the programmatic and administrative aspects of the Clubhouse in a manner consistent with Clubhouse philosophy and the DOHMH contracted scope of services. The Program Director will provide leadership and vision to the Clubhouse members and staff, upholding the integrity of the Clubhouse model. The Program Director will implement the model by providing leadership to staff and members in developing the units, work-ordered day tasks, the Advisory Board, and the NYC Clubhouse Coalition.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, some evenings, and weekends, 9am to 5:00pm
Salary Range: $71,000 - $77,000
Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
