    Description

    The Enrollment Manager supports the mission of District 1199C Training & Upgrading Fund by managing the full enrollment lifecycle and delivering holistic, participant-centered advising to union members and community learners. This position is a key resource for individuals seeking to advance their careers through the Fund’s educational programs, from basic skills to industry certifications.

    Serving as a consistent point of contact, the Enrollment Manager ensures each participant is guided through every step of the process, from inquiry and enrollment to completion, helping them access education benefits, eliminate barriers, and align their goals with program offerings. A strong candidate will bring a passion for educational equity, experience working with adult learners, and a talent for building cross-functional relationships.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Enrollment Management

      • Lead the full enrollment cycle for all education and training programs, with an emphasis on union member participation.
      • Develop and implement strategic outreach and engagement initiatives to drive enrollment, particularly among underserved groups.
      • Collaborate with the Director of Continuing Education to plan and execute targeted recruitment and communications campaigns.
      • Oversee intake and onboarding processes, including eligibility screening, orientation delivery, and academic assessments.
      • Maintain and update accurate records using enrollment databases and case management systems.
      • Produce enrollment reports and analyze participation data to support continuous improvement.

    Case Management & Participant Advising

      • Provide individualized academic and career advising tailored to each participant’s goals and circumstances.
      • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to coordinate referrals for support services, such as tutoring and financial assistance.
      • Ensure participants understand and can access the full range of Training Fund education benefits (e.g., tuition reimbursement, certification funding).
      • Partner with the Apprenticeship Coordinator to connect participants to work-based learning aligned with their career plans.
      • Monitor progress and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure retention and timely completion.
      • Intervene early when challenges arise, offering personalized solutions and resources.
      • Serve as an advocate for participants, working to remove systemic barriers to success.
