Vietnam Animal Aid and Rescue

VAAR works to end animal suffering in Vietnam through animal rights education to children, local animal welfare organizations, and veterinarians at our animal rescue center and farm sanctuary. We are a vegan organization that focuses on the intersection between human and animal rights and the need for environmental protection from the animal agriculture. We are currently planning a move to Hanoi from Hoi An in order to be closer to international vet clinics, national government agencies, and universities. Once we arriove there in Spring with nearly 50 animals, we will focus on our animal rights education programs, adoptions, and mass sterilization projects. VAAR advocates for raising the status of animal rights to a legitimate development sector in both society and within legislative structures.
