Volunteer Theatre Actors' Association

The Volunteer Theatre Actors' Association, a charitable organization, was founded to advocate for the needs of volunteer and low-wage theatre actors; and to support the community theatres they perform in.

Specifically, our goals are to advocate for community theater actors by: 1) ensuring that the theaters they perform in adhere to basic standards of health, safety, and care; 2) obtaining funding / contributions to provide actors with support to help them flourish personally and professionally; and 3)  working with community theaters to ensure theaters continue to have the resources and cooperation necessary to develop engaging theatrical experiences for the benefit of their communities.
