About Us
Founded in 2014, World BEYOND War is a global grassroots network of volunteers, chapters, and affiliated organizations advocating for the abolition of the institution of war. Individuals and organizations in 193 countries have signed our Declaration of Peace, pledging to work nonviolently for an end to all war. Our work tackles the myths of war by demonstrating that war is not just, beneficial, necessary, or inevitable. We educate the public about the fact that war should be ended, and that there are steps we can and must take to move toward war's abolition.
Our campaigns include: peace education, military base closure, and divestment from weapons companies that make a killing on killing.
