    International in scope, while reflecting the creative expression of our region and city, the Museum explores the broadest spectrum of visual culture at the highest level of quality. The Museum will be a destination and an experience, and serve as the cultural heart of Boca Raton. The Museum in Mizner Park and The Art School in its historic home on Palmetto Park Road, reflect the community’s civic commitment to excellence in arts and education. Together they form an expanded creative campus that generates a lively conversation and provides insight into the creative force in our community.

    About Us

    Founded in 1950 as the Art Guild of Boca Raton, the organization matured with the City and in 2001 the Boca Raton Museum of Art opened the doors to a new building providing space to mount larger and more prominent exhibitions featuring nationally and internationally recognized artists. BRMA is a dynamic leader in Florida’s multiethnic cultural life enriching its community through informative programming and educating audiences from diverse backgrounds.

    The Museum has premiered numerous critically acclaimed exhibits including Picasso, Andrew Wyeth, Purvis Young, Whistler, Degas, Mary Cassatt and M. C. Escher, to name just a few and attracts some 200,000 people annually. Services include education programs for students and adults, both on-site and outreach, including art workshops, lectures, classes, films, family programs, gallery tours, discussions with local and visiting artists, travel tours and professional development seminars for public school teachers. Program participants range in age from 4 years to 94 years.
