Mid-Island Y JCC

The Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center, established in 1956, serves Nassau and western Suffolk Counties. More than 12,000 members and patrons benefit from the human services provided by the Mid-Island Y JCC. The Center is a UJA-Federation agency and also affiliated with the United Way of Long Island and provides more than $225,000 of scholarships to families in need and is a center for personal growth, family strength and community cohesion.

The Center provides a full range of programs from toddler and preschool through senior citizen clubs and activities. We currently offer toddler programs, nursery school, preschool day care, school-age daycare and after-school programs, teen programming, summer day and travel camping, adult education, cultural arts and physical fitness, swimming and recreational athletic programs for all ages, social skills classes and health and fitness programs for people with disabilities and illness, Alzheimer’s respite, bereavement counseling, separation/divorce support center and a full service senior center.

Whether you work out in our fitness center, play basketball in our gym, learn to sculpt while taking one of our many classes, prepare for taking the SATs, are enrolled in our daycare, learn to swim in our Olympic size pool or celebrating a special event on our grounds, the Mid-Island Y JCC has something to fit any need and lifestyle.
