About Us
Founded in 1986, San Jose Jazz is a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation that celebrates jazz as a dynamic, evolving art form and is producer of the annual San Jose Jazz Summer Fest and SJZ Break Room. With its singular music programming and innovative educational offerings, SJZ preserves the jazz tradition while actively supporting the next generation of performers within the genre and beyond. We foster cultural vibrancy in the region by finding and showcasing talented artists, and by growing our children into confident, capable individuals through outstanding music education programs.
