The Prostate Conditions Education Council is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of men and their loved ones, through innovative programming, early detection, patient support, educational outreach, and increased access to the latest diagnostics and treatments for all prostate conditions.

Founded in 1989, the Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives by advancing awareness, education, and early detection of prostate cancer. For over 35 years, PCEC has empowered men, their loved ones, and the medical community with critical knowledge about the disease.

As the founders of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, PCEC has led one of the largest and most successful men’s health screening initiatives in the world, reaching millions across the U.S. Today, PCEC programming operates year-round through a wide range of live and virtual events that serve a diverse demographic.

PCEC also works to expand patient access to precision diagnostics, genetic testing, and a full spectrum of treatment options. Through innovative education and outreach, we aim to reverse the rising trend of late-stage diagnoses and continue to address critical gaps in prostate cancer research and care.
