    The Vision and purpose of the Youths As Volunteers Integrated Network Society (YAVIN SOCIETY) is to enable and empower younger people to undertake projects designed to make meaningful and viable contributions to their psycho-social, physical, and spiritual well-being as well as to the social welfare of other people in their immediate and sorrounding envioroments.

    About Us

    The agency was founded by concerned Canadians led by Samson aimed at making fundamental changes in the lives of the people through youth initiatives, activities and participation. By empowering the youth we believe that the fundemental change cannot only be achived but can also be shared and sustained by all people, espcially those who are vulnerable in our communities.

    1. Accessibility of essential skills/training to many Uganda’s orphans and youths at risk in order to attain practical skills for self-reliance and poverty alleviation.
    2. Classroom construction, training and education at Yavins Education Centre which is in need of volunteers support
    3. Availability of rainwater harvesting reservoir. This centre will be designed in such a way that enough rainwater is harvested off the buildings for community consumption.
    4. Empowerment of girls and women as strategy for the promotion of gender equality.
    5. Reducing the burden of high school fees rates and expensive scholastic materials which is the major cause of school drop our in the area.
    6. Generation of self-employment opportunities essential for survival in the Uganda and the world today.
    7. Provision of health awareness and creativity through sports and related recreation activities.
    8. Sustainability of the vocational training centre through youths’ initiatives and participation in skills and values such as; tailoring, bricklaying, carpentry, Hairdressing, catering, civic community awareness studies etc.
