Anything Helps

  • Mission

Through technology, innovation and frontline work, Anything Helps wants to end homelessness in King County. Lead by people with lived experience of homelessness, we center the people we serve in everything we do. We won't quit until everyone is provided with a clear path to a safe, dignified and permanent home.

    About Us

All members of our outreach team are people with lived experience, and trained to find commonalities with the people they encounter. By doing this, the people we serve invite us into their lives. We walk alongside them, between service gaps and across silos, which allows us to establish trust and identify service gaps in the system. By simply asking what our clients need, not assuming or telling them what we think they need, their voice is naturally centered in everything we do. These experiences synthesize and the results drive our work.

Some of the services we've provided in the last year:

Supportive Outreach, Intensive Case Management, Housing Navigation, Frontline Service Provider Training, Crisis De-Escalation Training, Housing Retention, Landlord Liaison Program, Benefits Enrollment, Identification Procurement, Information and Referrals, Peer Support, By-Name List Generation.

As a non-profit organization in it's early years, it is a challenge for Anything Helps to jumpstart infrastructure necessary to operate. This includes liability insurance, equipment, email, our website, and staffing costs. We need to generate a reliable source of funding that allows us to pay our staff and our minimal expenses. This would allows us to provide consistent and quality care to our clients. We also need assistance with the development of organizational policies and procedures, some board mentorship, and a source of flexible funds to allow us to be expedient and adaptable to the needs of our clients.
