Located on the Lafayette River, the Museum houses a collection of over 40,000 items that span 5,000 years and the globe. Built by William and Florence Sloane between 1908 and 1937, the Hermitage has been a Museum for 75 years. Come visit us, volunteer and explore this hidden gem in Norfolk's Lochhaven neighborhood.
