    The New Haven Scholarship Fund was founded in 1959 by Jean Paton Lovell, a mathematics teacher at Hillhouse High School, who noticed that there were students with academic potential but without the finances to further their education. Providing scholarships for New Haven students who are pursuing post high school educational options including colleges, universities, trade and technical schools.
