Mission
EmployabilityUK works with businesses and the education sector to raise the confidence, aspirations and work-readiness of young people. We design bespoke employability skills programmes centred on face to face mentoring, inspirational talks and practical workshops. Employers often comment that young people are not work ready. We aim to bridge the gap between education and business to address this and help young people to be knowledgeable and confident about their choices.
About Us
We work with schools to understand their priorities and desired outcomes. We then develop a unique programme of activities for them to inspire and benefit their students, tailored to meet their specific needs. We work with businesses to better understand their particular skills gaps and help them shape the way students are prepared for the workplace. Our programmes are delivered using volunteers from either a single, or from several companies, including large, small and the self-employed. We provide a very supported and well-organised service both to our customers and our volunteers.
