Higher Education & Responsibility through Over Seas Exchange, HEROS is dedicated to develop leadership skills in inner-city high school students to become respected participants and role models in their community through academic enhancement programs, leadership training, local voluntary service and overseas community service learning projects in Africa. Objective: HEROS objective is to become one of the country's unique youth development programs. Our activities are designed to provide “at risk” youth the path to progressive education for self awareness, self actualization and community development. Goal: Our goal is to provide inner-city high school students the appetite for success through rigorous academic workshops, developing emotional intelligence, civic awareness and global understanding
