    New Mexico International School (NMIS) provides K-5 students an educational program focused on: • inquiry-based teaching and learning, • the acquisition of languages, • the development of social, emotional, and rigorous academic skills necessary to function in our local, national, and international community.     New Mexico International School (NMIS) is a K-8 authorized public charter school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is one of the top schools in the state, and is a popular school of choice for the Albuquerque community. It offers dual language instruction in English and Spanish to all students, and adds a third language, Arabic, starting in 4 th grade. It also promotes inquiry-based learning by offering the IB’s Primary Years Programme in grades K-5. NMIS produces extremely successful students who will go on to be multilingual, independent and motivated students and professionals in New Mexico.
