    Description

    Her Nexx Chapter, a 501c3 global nonprofit organization, provides engagement topics and activities that will deliver an impactful experience for women. We are a vibrant community for women to explore topics that will connect them with other like-minded women. HNC is here to walk with you through the various seasons of life. The possibilities are unlimited when women are directly involved in their own transformation. From life skills with wellness to soft skills for growth, the education, workshops and community relationships reveal our commitment to "The Future of Connection for Women."

    Our financial operations are a vital part of our nonprofit organization. We are looking for volunteers to help make informed decisions that can ensure long-term funding to help support our programming for women.

    As an Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will assist with managing our organization's financial resources and activities with a team of accounting managers, CPAs, and our CFO. You will assist in providing financial guidance to the operations department in developing financial plans and policies. Your work will include identifying risks and opportunities as well as measuring performance against objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Tracking and processing transactions

    • Creating and managing budgets, monitoring spending, and ensuring resources are allocated properly

    • Identifying financial risks and opportunities, and providing insights and analysis to help with decision-making

    • Ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant, and producing regular reports according to nonprofit compliance

    • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial operations via audits

    • Using financial data to make recommendations to the advisory board and board of directors

    Qualifications

    • Experience with Quickbooks and Excel

    • Must live in the US

    • Must be willing to comply with a background check
