    Description

Are you a digital nomad, entrepreneur, or young creative looking to make a social impact while sharing your knowledge?

At FAVER NGO, we have created a unique space in the Peruvian Amazon for international volunteers to contribute their experience and energy by teaching courses and workshops on entrepreneurship and innovation in Spanish, with a direct impact on local communities and Amazonian youth.

Our program focuses on three key areas:

    • Sustainable wood products – Innovation in design, commercialization, and responsible value chains.
    • Music and the orange economy – Supporting young people in the Loreto Music Lab to rescue, record, and modernize native genres.
    • Technology and digitalization – Teaching digital tools, online marketing, design, and basic programming to local entrepreneurs.

In addition, volunteer fees and contributions will help us fund bio-trade extension activities, where we will share experiences among communities on how to sustainably use Amazonian resources, strengthen value chains, and open fair and innovative market opportunities.

    Your Role as a Volunteer

You will be a mentor and facilitator, sharing practical knowledge that strengthens the local economy and provides new opportunities for young people, artisans, and community leaders.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and deliver introductory workshops in Spanish (entrepreneurship, innovation, marketing, music, or technology).
    • Support participants in practical projects (business plans, product prototypes, musical recordings, digital applications).
    • Take part in cultural exchange sessions with local youth and artisans.
    • Document and share your experience to inspire future volunteers.

    Requirements

    • Intermediate or advanced Spanish (you do not need to be a native speaker).
    • Previous experience in at least one of the following areas: entrepreneurship, music, technology, digital marketing, design, or social innovation.
    • Proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn from the Amazon.
    • Minimum commitment: 3 to 4 weeks (flexible depending on availability).

    Benefits for Volunteers

    • A transformative intercultural experience in the heart of the Amazon.
    • International volunteer certificate awarded by FAVER.
    • Basic accommodation and participation in cultural activities (music, craft workshops, community visits).
    • Free time to explore the rainforest, visit riverside communities, or work on your own projects.
    • The opportunity to make a real difference: your knowledge will turn into sustainable projects with direct impact on people’s lives.

    Duration and Schedule

    • Programs last between 3 weeks and 3 months.
    • 40 hours per week of teaching, workshops, and mentoring.
    • Free time reserved for responsible tourism, exploration, and personal creation.

Come, share what you know, learn from the Amazon, and help us build a more sustainable, creative, and collaborative future.
