    Description

    CrowdDoing is a joint initiative between Reframe It and Match4Action. By providing high-skilled volunteers in a managed and systematic way. CrowdDoing helps expedite the development and growth of the social

    innovations and social enterprises aligned with systemic change.

    Project - Serious Games for Prevention derivatives

    The main objective of the serious game's project is to develop a pledging platform for stakeholders including experts, government officials, and students who desire to bring social innovations to the

    problem and support. Serious games combine entertainment with education and civic engagement. Serious gaming is a widely used technique to educate people with diverse backgrounds and has proven effective in a range of contexts. CrowdDoing is building a team of volunteers for the production of this

    project.

    Role Summary:

    The game programmer is expected to help build and implement new games for various markets. An ideal

    candidate is someone with game programming experience, who is now a stay-at-home parent looking for a small monthly time commitment to keep their skills current or a full-time employee looking for a manageable opportunity to contribute their skills to a good cause.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    The Game Programmer will be responsible for the below-mentioned tasks:

    * Implement new games for various markets

    * Prototype new features

    * Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle

    * Analyze design requirements and build them out

    * Collaborate with Producer / Product Manager to design the technical roadmap of products.

    Essential Skills:

    • Experience in Unity, Unreal, C#/C++.
    • Multi-platform building experience
    • Experience with sockets/network programming is a plus.
    • Experience with database systems is a plus.
    • Experience UI framework is a plus
    • A background in simulation game is a plus
    • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
    • Good problem-solving skills and communication skills
