Position Title: Volunteer Dog Foster

Dog in Need: Nearly 2-Year-Old Rescue Pup

Location: Pensacola, Florida

Commitment: Short-term or until adoption — we’ll work with your schedule

About the Pup:

This lovable, nearly 2-year-old dog has grown up in rescue and has never had the chance to experience life in a real home. He’s sweet, curious, and eager to learn — he just needs someone patient and kind to show him how to be part of a family. He’s spent his young life in a kennel environment, so the world outside is still new and a little overwhelming. But with the right guidance, we believe he’ll blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion he was meant to be.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a foster who can offer:

• A safe, stable, and loving home environment
• Time, patience, and a calm routine to help him settle in
• Gentle guidance to teach him basics like walking on a leash, house manners, and building confidence
• Positive reinforcement training and lots of encouragement
• A commitment to helping him adjust at his own pace

Ideal Foster:

• Experience with shy, under-socialized, or rescue dogs is a plus (but not required)
• A calm household (no small kids or high-energy chaos preferred)
• A securely fenced yard is a bonus, but not a must
• Willing to provide updates and communicate with our rescue team
• Can transport to vet appointments or meet-and-greets if needed

• All supplies (food, crate, leash, toys, etc.)
