Volunteer Opportunity: Remote Researcher - Youth & Mental Health Partnerships
We’re seeking a dedicated Remote Volunteer Researcher to help identify potential nonprofit partners focused on youth development, mental health, and education. This role supports our mission to build healing-centered, community-driven programs across the Southeast and Southern U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Research youth-focused and mental health nonprofits in target cities
Compile contact lists and partnership leads into shared documents
Prioritize organizations aligned with trauma-informed care, mentorship, and educational equity
Target Cities (within a 2-hour radius):
West Palm Beach & Orlando, FL
Atlanta, GA
Montgomery & Birmingham, AL
Charlotte, NC
Nashville, TN
Houston & Dallas, TX
Ideal Partners May Include:
Youth empowerment nonprofits like BAYS Kids, Firm Foundations Charlotte, Project 16 Dallas, and StandUp for Kids Atlanta
Mental health and education orgs such as STARS Nashville, Young Audiences Houston, and That’s My Child Montgomery
Local Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and youth mentoring programs listed in Cause IQ directories
Ideal Candidate:
Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about youth advocacy
Comfortable using Google Drive, Gmail, and spreadsheets
Able to commit 3-5 hours per week remotely
