    Fundraising Volunteer/Intern

    Location: Remote (Online)

    Commitment: 15 Hours per Week

    Santos Creations Educational Foundation (SCEF) is a non-profit organization committed to transforming education and community development across Africa. Through innovative programs like NESA Africa, EduAid Africa, and Education Online Africa, SCEF strives to empower individuals and communities by providing access to quality education and promoting sustainable development and social change.

    We are seeking motivated Online Volunteers and Interns to contribute 15 hours per week to our impactful programs and initiatives. This flexible role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience working with a leading non-profit organization while making a difference from the comfort of your home.

    Job Summary

    As an Online Volunteer/Intern, you will support SCEF in a variety of projects, ranging from research, content development, social media engagement, fundraising support, grant writing, and more. This position is ideal for students, professionals, or anyone looking to gain experience in the non-profit sector, specifically in education and community development.

    Key Responsibilities

    Research and Reporting:

    - Assist in researching educational trends, potential donors, and partners.

    - Support program teams with data collection, reporting, and analysis.

    Content Creation:

    - Help create content for SCEF’s website, newsletters, social media platforms, and educational programs (e.g., articles, blogs, case studies).

    Social Media Engagement:

    - Support the social media team in managing platforms, developing posts, and engaging with our community to boost online presence.

    Fundraising and Grant Writing:

    - Assist in researching funding opportunities and help with writing grant proposals and donor communications.

    Administrative Support:

    - Provide support for online meetings, manage documents, and assist in updating databases and schedules.

    Program Assistance:

    - Help manage online educational programs such as Education Online Africa, coordinate webinars, and support virtual events.

    Volunteer Coordination:

    - Work with the Volunteer and Internship Coordinator to help manage volunteer activities, track engagement, and assist with volunteer communications.

    Qualifications

    - Strong interest in non-profit work, education, or community development.

    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.

    - Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

    - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    - Passion for education, social change, and sustainable development.

    Preferred Skills:

    - Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).

    - Prior experience in research, grant writing, or fundraising is a plus.

    - Basic knowledge of content creation and digital marketing is an advantage.
