2 Health Science Mentors Needed (1 Hour a Week, Remote) Start asap

We’re urgently looking for two Health Science mentors to support young Afghan women preparing for careers in medicine, public health, or health education.

This is part of Victory Afghanistan’s global Pathway Program, offering girls and women structured mentorship despite the restrictions they face in-country.

We are especially interested in mentors who can:

• Share their journey into medicine, nursing, psychology, or public/global health
• Help mentees prepare for relevant university paths or scholarships abroad
• Serve as role models and offer weekly encouragement and structure

Commitment: 1 hour per week (or more if desired)

Location: Remote (you set the time with your mentee)

Dates: Immediate start - 24 November 2025

Duration: 20 weeks

Mentees: You’ll be paired with 1–6 mentees aged 20–24

Language: All mentees are fluent in English

Ideal Background:

• Ideally Masters degree, but also Bachelors in a health science discipline
• 10+ years of experience in health, medicine, or public health
• Empathy, consistency, and good communication
