    Description

    About Healing Favor Nutrition:

    Position Overview: Healing Favor Nutrition is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Outreach and Partnerships volunteer to assist in establishing connections with potential funding sources.

    currently need someone that can dedicate at-least 4 hours weekly for 3 months or longer to qualify. Please let us know if you can. Please, don't apply if you cannot commit to this.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Research and Identify Funding Sources: Conduct research to identify potential government grants, foundations, philanthropic organizations, and corporate sponsors that align with healing favor nutrition's mission and initiatives.
    2. Prepare Grant Applications: Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, including gathering required documentation, writing grant narratives, and adhering to submission deadlines.
    3. Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with local government agencies, foundations, philanthropic entities, and community-based organizations to explore partnership opportunities.
    4. Networking: Attend relevant community meetings, conferences, and networking events to represent healing, favor nutrition and build connections with potential supporters.
    5. Data Collection: Maintain a database of potential funding sources, partnership contacts, and grant application deadlines.

    Qualifications:

    • Enrolled in or recent graduate from a college or university program in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, social work, business administration).
    • Strong research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Passion for social justice, youth empowerment, and addressing homelessness.
