Dear Changemaker,
At Responder Relief Fund Corp, we're looking for passionate volunteers to help shape policies that support our nation's frontline heroes. If you get fired up about making systemic change and enjoy building relationships with decision-makers, we'd love to have you as our Volunteer Grassroots Advocacy Champion (what some might call a lobbyist with heart!).
- Why This Role Matters:
Every conversation you have with legislators, every policy brief you help craft, and every relationship you build will help us:
- Secure better benefits for first responders affected by disasters
- Advocate for mental health support for emergency personnel
- Influence policies that protect those who protect us
- What You'll Do:
✓ Build relationships with lawmakers and their staff (we'll provide training!)
✓ Help craft compelling messages about first responder needs
✓ Monitor relevant legislation and policy opportunities
✓ Organize virtual "lobby days" with other volunteers
✓ Celebrate when policies change for the better!
