    Talent Acquisition Coordinator

    WHAT WE DO

    One Bread Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to providing monetary support for the rehabilitation of children and teens rescued from trafficking, while serving as a vocal advocate for stronger laws and educating our communities with the knowledge to confront this escalating crisis.

    Position Summary:

    The Volunteer Talent Coordinator plays a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers to ensure a positive and impactful experience for both volunteers and the organization. This role focuses on building strong relationships, matching volunteers with meaningful opportunities, and helping retain a committed volunteer base.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Volunteer Recruitment:
      • Develop and implement creative strategies to attract diverse volunteers.
      • Post volunteer opportunities on relevant platforms and attend community outreach events.
    • Onboarding & Training:
      • Coordinate volunteer orientation sessions and assist with onboarding documentation.
      • Support program leads in training volunteers for specific roles.
    • Volunteer Matching & Scheduling:
      • Assess volunteer interests, skills, and availability to place them in suitable roles.
      • Maintain volunteer calendars and coordinate schedules across departments or programs.
    • Engagement & Retention:
      • Foster a positive volunteer culture through regular communication, appreciation efforts, and check-ins.
      • Organize recognition events or initiatives to celebrate volunteer contributions.
    • Data Management & Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, roles, and contact information.
      • Assist with reporting on volunteer impact and program outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in volunteer coordination, human resources, or community engagement preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
    • Comfort using volunteer databases, spreadsheets, or scheduling tools.
    • A passion for community service and the organization’s mission.
